List of Services
A Home Watch inspection is a visual inspection, of a home or property, looking for obvious issues. The following items will be checked on each visit based on your desired schedule regardless of the plan you choose.
INTERIOR INSPECTION
Water leaks - Check for obvious signs of water leaks from interior sources such as water heater, dishwasher, washer hosed, etc.
Air Conditioning - Verify and record temperature on thermostat. Visual inspection of filters.
Toilets - Flush toilets to check for normal function.
Faucets - Check and run all faucets
Electric Panel - Verify that no breakers have been tripped by power surges. Reset breakers if needed. Verify that water heater breaker is off (if requested).
Check ceilings and walls obvious signs of water intrusion, mold, cracks or other abnormalities.
Check for any obvious signs of pest issues or infestation.
General condition - Check for the general cleanliness after any guests or hired contractors have been present.
Smoke detectors checked
Verify that windows and doors are secured
Visually inspect water zones and water connections. These include including water heater, under every sink, toilets, tub and showers areas, dishwasher, washing machines and ice makers.
Cycle water through sinks, tubs, showers to avoid stagnation and keep washers, gaskets, and seals from drying out
Check refrigerators, freezers, and wine coolers for proper and operation and food spoilage.
Run garbage disposal to prevent premature failure.
Check garage for general cleanliness and obvious issues.
Set alarm system upon departure of building.
EXTERIOR INSPECTION
Verify general cleanliness of landscaping.
Collect any mail or packages left at the door.
Check for any obvious issues with siding or exterior window, doors and screens.
Check for any signs of exterior pest issues.
Visual inspection of Pool area monitoring water level and clarity.
Check hose bib connections - Leaks or drips
Check that main water valve is turned off after each inspection (unless otherwise requested by client).
